Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
Sterile processing definition
A Safety Data Sheet is a standardized document from a chemical's manufacturer describing its hazards, safe handling, required personal protective equipment, first aid and spill response. OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard requires employers to keep SDSs available for every hazardous chemical in the workplace, such as detergents and disinfectants.
